Privacy Policy

Espiriyo is operated by Aveny LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, where it goes, and how you get rid of it.

The short version

We never save the screenshots you upload. They are processed to produce your replies and then dropped from memory. We keep your email address, whether your subscription is active, and a counter of how many replies you generated today. That is all that lives on our servers.

What we collect

On our servers:

• Your email address, so you have an account you can return to. It comes from the Apple or Google account you sign in with.
• Whether your subscription is active, so we know if you may use the app.
• A daily counter of how many times you generated replies, tied to your account. It exists to enforce the fair use limit and is not read for anything else.

On your device only, never sent to us as stored data:

• Your style settings — how silly, how witty, how harsh, whether trend language and profanity are on, which regional accent you picked.
• Your profile — the gender and age range you chose and the sentence you wrote about yourself.
• Your onboarding answers.
• The replies the app generated for you.

We do not collect your contacts, your location, any advertising identifiers, or analytics about how you move through the app. The app contains no ads, no analytics SDK and no tracking of any kind.

Your screenshots

The screenshot you pick is resized on your phone and sent to our server, which forwards it to OpenAI to read the conversation and write the replies. It is never written to a database, a disk or a log. When the request finishes, it is gone from memory on both sides.

Once the image reaches OpenAI, what happens to it is governed by OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy — how long they keep it and how they process it is not under our control. You can read their current policy at openai.com.

The conversation in your screenshot may contain another person's messages. You are the one choosing to upload it, and you are responsible for having the right to do so.

Who you are writing to

Before generating, you can tell the app who the other person is — the relationship, their gender and age range, and a note about them. This is sent with that single request and is not saved anywhere, not on our servers and not on your device. Each generation asks again.

Your own profile is different: it stays on your phone, and a copy of it is sent with each request so the replies sound like you. We do not store that copy.

Photo library access

The app asks for access to your photo library so you can pick a screenshot. We receive only the image you choose. The app does not scan, read or upload anything else from your library.

Who else sees your data

• Apple and Google — when you sign in, they tell us your email address.
• Firebase (Google Cloud) — hosts our authentication, our server functions and the daily counter. Servers are in Frankfurt, Germany.
• RevenueCat — handles subscriptions and tells us whether yours is active.
• OpenAI — receives the screenshot and writes the replies, as described above.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

Age

The app can generate profanity when you turn that mode on, and it is rated for adults. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required by the store rating in your country.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your email address and subscription status live for as long as your account exists. The daily counter is deleted automatically after a short retention period.

To delete your account and everything attached to it, write to hello@aveny.co from the address you signed up with. Everything stored on your device is removed when you delete the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to hello@aveny.co and we will answer.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change applies.
